  Nightmare of a place!!!! Stay away and go to a different city for your license needs. You got people working who have no idea what their duties are. They use the office as a form of popularity contest. Being here three times and what's troubling is they know why you there before they issue you ticket. Checked in at 1120 and was given a ticket. The black lady who first attended to us was very rude! Then her white counterpart issues us a ticket knowing full well what services were needed. Then they proceeded to attend to a lady who came well after us. The lady told Brian "The last time I was here you asked me to come right on to you. Being in the hospital and nursing home". The white attendant filled all paperwork and issued license. Then come us. First the white lady at counter 5 who called us looks at her white supervisor and she says. "Just tell them. By the time they are processed and begin taking the test, she will only have 4 minutes and the machine will cut off at 1200". I said process us. And she replied " you will still pay tje $10". I've been to many drivers license offices this is by far the worse. Very unprofessional and a bunch of red necks to say the least. Just thankful there are many other offices in the state because we are never returning. Am thankful for my TN License and will keep it for as long as it is valid. For my sister, we are getting a license in a different city. I've never seen a drivers license office where you sign in 40 minutes before they close , yet you are not attended to. But if you are white, you can just walk in and have everything taken care of. PUT A SIGN THAT SAYS DO NOT COME IN 40 MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING TIME TO TAKE A WRITTEN TEST PEOPLE. YOU CANNOT DO THAT BECAUSE THERE'S NO LAW OR POLICY THAT SAYS SO. MESSED UP PLACE! I FORGOT WE ARE IN A PRIMITIVE CITY !!!!

  Service is HORRIBLE! They tell you bits and pieces of information that you need, tell you what to bring back, "oh just bring that paper back and it will be ready", haha now for the 2nd day in a row something different everyday. I'm not sure nice is going to be my next term. Get it together all at once, your waiting time sucks.

  I took my son here to get his learner permit today. I was surprisingly please with the service I got today. I know the one I go to for myself, I never got good customer service & thankfully they don't be open on Saturdays so I came to the Dublin office which is the second closest office to me. Anyway, the people I talked to in the Dublin office was so friendly and helpful and they were kind to my 16 year old son, which help him stop being nervous. I also observe the other workers, who I didn't talk to for help, but was helping others and they were kind and helpful to those people that they help. I had a very good experience with the Dublin office today.
